Widening the arts brief beyond established broadcast media HWM is developing a business taking opera and classical music productions into vineyards for HD screenings of top quality opera productions from the major houses in the world.
“A Day at the Opera” will comprise live performance from young professional musicians in the vineyard, live wine tastings and other entertainment on screen prior to the culmination of the day - Puccini’s TOSCA on the big HD screen in a production recorded by the BBC at the Royal Opera House starring Angela Gheorghiu, Jonas Kaufmann, Bryn Terfel and conducted by Sir Antonio Pappano.
The addition of digital technology makes this a great event - with big stars under the stars.
